Lone Tree

*THE PARAGRAPH BELOW IS ON ALL BATTLE OF THE BULGE PICTURES OF MINE*

This picture was taken while on a Battle of the Bulge Reanactment walk in Belgium. The walk itself was 24 kilometers (about 13.8 miles) trudging through forests, roads, narrow paths, accross rivers, ect. While walking, at some points you could hear the reanactments going on in far off places, hearing mortar and gunfire. Even though it was just fake, it was still a very surreal and exciting experiance. It was also very humbling, as I only walked the said distance, and the next morning I was DIEING of pain. I would hate to have been a solider.

*SPECIFIC TO THE PICTURE*

This was taking after walking up a very very very large hill mountain thingy. It took forever to scale because I'm not the most fit person, and when I did reach the top the rest of the trip was slightly downhill, so I can't complain. Far off in the distance you can see WW2 reanacters on the path, dressed in real uniforms and probably holding WW2 guns. It's spiffy.
